Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Voystro collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our website, app, and related services.
Effective date: May 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to Voystro products and services that link to it. If you use Voystro through an organization, your organization may control or administer workspace content and may have its own privacy obligations.
Our privacy commitments
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use your workspace content, voice recordings, transcripts, or task data to train third-party foundation models unless you explicitly authorize it.
- We use voice and AI content to provide the features you request, such as transcription, task extraction, summarization, routing, and workflow generation.
- Access to workspace content is controlled by workspace permissions, task visibility, and sharing settings.
- You can contact support@voystro.com to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information.
Information we collect
- Account information, such as your name, email address, authentication identifiers, profile details, workspace membership, role, permissions, and account preferences.
- Workspace and team content, such as projects, tasks, comments, assignments, approvals, routing context, role descriptions, organizational structure, uploaded attachments, and related operational data you or your team provide.
- Voice and AI content, such as audio recordings, transcripts, prompts, generated task plans, extracted action items, summaries, and other content submitted for transcription, routing, or AI-assisted workflow generation.
- Communications, such as support requests, feedback, waitlist or beta access submissions, invitation details, notification preferences, and email delivery events.
- Usage, device, and log data, such as pages viewed, feature interactions, browser and device information, IP address, error logs, performance data, security events, and approximate location inferred from network information.
- Payment or billing-related information if paid features are enabled. Payment processors may collect payment card or bank details directly, and Voystro receives limited billing records such as plan, status, and transaction metadata.
How we use information
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve Voystro, including account access, workspace collaboration, task creation, assignment routing, notifications, support, and troubleshooting.
- Transcribe voice input, generate structured task data, summarize content, route work, suggest assignees, and support AI-assisted workflows you request.
- Personalize the product experience, remember preferences, measure feature usage, understand product performance, and develop new functionality.
- Send product, transactional, administrative, security, billing, invitation, and support communications.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, policy violations, and technical issues.
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, respond to lawful requests, and protect the rights, safety, and property of Voystro, users, and others.
How we share information
- With workspace members and administrators according to workspace permissions, task visibility, sharing settings, and collaboration choices.
- With service providers that help us operate Voystro, including hosting, database, authentication, analytics, logging, email, push notifications, transcription, AI processing, customer support, and payment services.
- With AI providers when needed to process prompts, audio, transcripts, files, task context, or other content for requested AI features. We send only the content needed to provide the requested feature, and we require providers to process it under confidentiality and security obligations.
- With professional advisors, auditors, insurers, or legal authorities when reasonably necessary for business, compliance, security, or legal purposes.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections for personal information.
AI and voice processing
- Voystro is built around voice-first workflow creation. When you record or submit audio, we may process the audio to create a transcript, extract tasks, infer routing context, and generate related workflow outputs.
- AI outputs may be based on your submitted content, workspace context, team member profile information, and task history that you or your workspace have made available to the feature.
- Voystro is designed for business workflows, but you should use care before recording highly sensitive personal, financial, health, or regulated information unless your workspace has confirmed the right controls are in place.
- Access to resulting transcripts, task details, and AI outputs depends on workspace permissions, task visibility, and sharing settings.
Data retention
- We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide Voystro, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect security, and support legitimate business purposes.
- Workspace content may remain available until deleted by authorized users or administrators, subject to backup, audit, security, legal, and operational retention requirements.
- You or your workspace administrator may be able to delete certain content in the product. Deleted content may persist for a limited time in backups, logs, or other systems maintained for security, compliance, and operational continuity.
- If you ask us to delete information, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it unless we need to retain it for legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or other legitimate purposes.
Security
- We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These safeguards may include access controls, authentication, logging, encryption in transit, provider security controls, and internal review processes.
- No system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for using appropriate workspace permissions when inviting team members or sharing task content.
Your choices and rights
- You may access, update, or delete certain account and workspace information through Voystro features when available.
- You may manage notification preferences in the product or by using unsubscribe or preference links where provided.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent for certain personal information.
- California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, opt out of sale or sharing, and receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights. Voystro does not sell personal information for money. If we use advertising or analytics practices that are considered a sale or sharing under applicable law, we will provide required opt-out controls.
- To make a privacy request, contact support@voystro.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request.
Cookies and analytics
- Voystro uses cookies, local storage, session storage, SDKs, and similar technologies for necessary product functions such as sign-in, security, workspace access, theme settings, drafts, and interface preferences.
- Optional analytics and performance technologies help us understand page views, product usage, reliability events, and feature quality. We only enable browser-based PostHog analytics after you accept analytics cookies or save analytics as enabled in Cookie Preferences.
- Operational logs and server-side diagnostics may still be used to secure, debug, and operate Voystro without storing optional analytics cookies in your browser.
- Voystro does not currently use advertising pixels on the app. If we introduce marketing or targeted-advertising technologies, they will remain off unless allowed by your choices and applicable law. When your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Voystro treats marketing and sale/share related controls as off.
- You can change your choices at any time through Cookie Preferences. Your browser may also offer controls to block or delete cookies; some required product features may not work correctly if necessary storage is disabled.
